Proposals and prices

Prices, dates and inclusions are confirmed in a written proposal for each expedition. Prices shown as “on request” on this website are quoted individually.

Reservation and deposit

A temporary reservation is confirmed by a deposit of 50% of the price, paid to our account:

• International climbers: 60 days before arrival in Indonesia, in US dollars.

• Domestic climbers: 30 days before arrival, in US dollars or Indonesian rupiah.

The balance must be paid on arrival in Timika.

Insurance

All clients must be covered by insurance covering cancellation, accident, medical costs, emergency evacuation and loss of or damage to baggage and personal belongings. We are not responsible for clients who come without insurance, or whose insurer refuses to cover emergency rescue.

Group travel

All members go and come back as one group. If any member splits from the group, their extra expenses are charged in addition to the normal price.

Additional costs

Any extra cost due to road blocks or other unforeseen reasons is charged separately. Additional days beyond the agreed itinerary, and costs caused by flight delays or cancellations, are not included.

Itinerary changes

Itineraries are guidelines and must remain flexible. Bad weather can extend the stay at base camp or delay helicopter and charter flights. Please reserve extra days.
